💉 glp-1: what happens when your appetite changes?

One of the reasons GLP-1 treatments can be effective for weight management is that they can change hunger, appetite and feelings of fullness.

But there’s an interesting side to this:

What happens when you’re simply not that hungry?

Eating less can make it harder to consistently get enough:

:green_salad: Nutrients
:droplet: Fluids
:high_voltage: Overall energy

And if you’re trying to lose fat while maintaining muscle, what you eat still matters.

That means your approach may need to change.

Instead of asking:

“How little can I eat?”

A better question can be:

“How can I make the food I do eat count?”

That could mean prioritising protein-rich foods, nutrient-dense meals and appropriate resistance training.

For anyone using a GLP-1:

What’s been the biggest change in your relationship with food since starting?

:fork_and_knife_with_plate: Smaller portions
:cut_of_meat: More focus on protein
:chocolate_bar: Fewer cravings
:alarm_clock: Different meal patterns
 Certain foods are harder to tolerate
