🧬 longevity: are we focusing on the wrong things?

What’s the point of living longer if you can’t live better?

Longevity has become one of the biggest conversations in health.

Supplements.

Peptides.

Hormones.

Biomarkers.

Wearables.

Advanced testing.

New treatments.

But there’s a much simpler side of longevity that often gets overlooked.

The boring stuff.

:green_salad: Nutrition

 Sleep

:person_walking: Daily movement

:brain: Stress management

 Cardiovascular health

:handshake: Social connection

These aren’t particularly exciting.

They don’t come in a futuristic bottle.

And they don’t usually go viral.

But they’re fundamental parts of maintaining health and function as we age.

So here’s an interesting question:

If you had access to every emerging longevity technology available…

but your sleep was terrible, you barely moved, your diet was poor and you had no resistance training…

Would you actually be optimising longevity?

Maybe the future of longevity isn’t about choosing between technology and fundamentals.

Maybe it’s about knowing when each has a place.

:speech_balloon: DEBATE THREAD

What’s more important for long-term health?

A — Master the fundamentals first

or

B — Use new technology alongside the fundamentals

Or is the answer somewhere in between?
