TRT vs Steroids: What's the Difference? 🩺

Although they’re often confused, Testosterone Replacement Therapy (TRT) and anabolic steroids are not the same.

TRT is a medically prescribed treatment used to restore testosterone levels in individuals with clinically confirmed testosterone deficiency. It is carefully monitored by healthcare professionals and tailored to each person’s needs.

In contrast, anabolic steroids are often used in supraphysiological (higher-than-normal) doses to enhance muscle growth or athletic performance. Their non-medical use can increase the risk of significant health complications.

The key difference lies in the purpose, dosage, and medical supervision.

:check_mark: TRT: Treats diagnosed low testosterone under medical guidance.
:check_mark: Steroids: Commonly used for performance or physique enhancement, often without medical supervision.
