One of the most common reasons TRT comes up in fitness conversations is muscle and strength.
But here’s something important:
TRT doesn’t replace good training.
Even when someone is prescribed testosterone replacement for a clinical reason, the fundamentals still matter.
Progressive resistance training
Adequate nutrition
Quality sleep
Hydration
Consistency
Appropriate clinical monitoring
Think of it as building a foundation.
Medication, when clinically appropriate, doesn’t make the foundation unnecessary.
And TRT isn’t something to start simply because you want faster gym results. Whether it’s appropriate is a medical decision that requires proper assessment and supervision.
