MYTH:
“The more you sweat during a workout, the more fat you’re burning.”
FACT:
Sweating doesn’t tell you how much fat you’ve burned.
Sweating is mainly your body’s way of cooling itself down. You can have a tough workout and barely sweat, or sit somewhere hot and sweat heavily without doing any exercise.
What matters more for your progress is the bigger picture:
Consistent training
A balanced diet
Adequate protein
Regular movement
Good recovery
Staying consistent over time
Don’t judge your workout by how soaked your T-shirt is. ![]()
Be honest — have you ever thought more sweat = a better workout?
