🧪 peptides: the question we should be asking

“Does it work?” isn’t always the first question.

With peptides becoming increasingly popular online, it’s easy to see impressive claims about everything from fat loss and muscle growth to recovery and longevity.

But before getting excited about a particular peptide, there’s a more important question:

What does the evidence actually show?

A good way to evaluate a claim is to ask:

:magnifying_glass_tilted_right: What was actually studied?
Was it tested in humans or only in laboratory/animal research?

:books: How strong is the evidence?
One small study isn’t the same as a large body of consistent research.

:bullseye: What outcome was measured?
A biological effect doesn’t automatically mean a meaningful health benefit.

:warning: What are the risks?
Potential benefits need to be considered alongside safety and side effects.

:globe_showing_europe_africa: Is it authorised for that use?
Regulatory status and approved uses matter.
